We will be ringing in the New Year right, with poems, poems, poems by Yeva Johnson, Dāshaun Washington, and Hua Xi and some light refreshments and cozy company. We hope you'll join us!
Yeva Johnson, a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet whose work appears in Bellingham Review, Obsidian, sin cesar, Sinister Wisdom, and elsewhere, explores interlocking caste systems and possibilities for human co-existence in our biosphere. Yeva’s debut chapbook, Analog Poet Blues, is available at Black Lawrence Press.
Dāshaun Washington is a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University. He has received support from Yaddo, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Lighthouse Works, Ucross Foundation, The Watering Hole, and beyond. His work has appeared in New England Review, Poetry, The Nation, Poem-a-Day, American Poetry Review, and elsewhere. He currently lives in San Francisco.
Hua Xi is a poet and artist. Her poems have appeared in The Nation, The New Republic, The Paris Review and elsewhere. She is currently a Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford.
