The National Poetry Month party continues with readings from beloved Bay Area poets, LeeAnn Pickrell and Cathryn Shea! Non-metaphorical nourishment will also be offered.
LeeAnn Pickrell is a poet, editor, and managing editor of Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche. She is the author of two poetry collections, Tsunami (Unsolicited Press, 2025) and Punctuated (Bottlecap Press, 2024). Her work appears in One Art, Atlanta Review, West Marin Review, and elsewhere. She lives in Richmond, California, with her partner and two
fabulous cats, and has an MFA from Mills College.
Cathryn Shea is the author of two poetry collections, Ghost Matinee and Genealogy Lesson for the Laity, both with Unsolicited Press, as well as five chapbooks. Her poems appear widely in journals such as Rust + Moth, Poet Lore, and New Orleans Review. Cathryn is a fourth-generation Northern Californian living with her family in Fairfax, CA
About the Marin Poetry Center Reading Series: A vibrant, varied selection of accomplished poets from near and far present their latest work in this lively and engaging monthly series. Doors open at 6:15. Reading begins at 6:30.
