Planting SEEDS - Glad Monster, Sad Monster

Planting SEEDS - Glad Monster, Sad Monster In-Person

This hands-on workshop invites children to explore their emotions through the tactile and imaginative world of clay. Guided by a Social Emotional Specialist, and the framework of Glad Monster, Sad Monster by Ed Emberley and Anna Miranda, participants will learn how different shapes, textures, and forms can represent feelings like joy, sadness, excitement, and calm. Using air-dry clay, children will sculpt objects or characters that express their current mood and then share their creations with peers. This sensory-rich activity promotes self-awareness, emotional vocabulary, empathy, and creativity. Presented by SEEDS. Grades K-2. Registration required. Please register kids only. Adults are welcome to attend with their child.
