Planting SEEDS - The Wish Tree by Kyo Maclear In-Person
This heartwarming holiday activity invites children to celebrate kindness—both towards themselves and others—by creating personalized Christmas ornaments. Through a short story, guided discussion, and hands-on crafting, children will explore the power of affirmations and positive words. Each child will decorate a unique ornament with an uplifting message, then share it during a group “Kindness Tree” ceremony. This festive project nurtures self-esteem, empathy, and community spirit while allowing children to express themselves through color, texture, and creativity. Grades K-2. Registration required. Please register kids only. Adults are welcome to attend with their child.
