Full STEAM Ahead: Explore the world of Gee's Bend Quilts In-Person
The community of Gee's Bend, Alabama has become world famous for their incredible quilting tradition. Read Stitchin' and Pullin' by Patricia McKissack with us and learn about the beautiful art and proud history of this Black community. After learning about Gee's Bend's quilts we'll make our own collaborative paper quilt using geometry, math, and our own unique artistic voices.
