Preparing for El Niño In-Person
Wildfires, atmospheric rivers, power outages: emergencies can come at any time of year. Local first responders, government officials, and active community members have joined forces to bring this this emergency preparedness series to the library. Each month we'll cover a different topic relevant to the time of year or local incidents to learn how to prepare yourself and your loved ones for everything from inclement weather to manmade disasters. This month we'll be discussing: What is El Niño and how can Mill Valley residents prepare to weather the storm?
Presented in collaboration with City of Mill Valley Emergency Preparedness Commission, Southern Marin Fire District, and Neighborhood Response Groups. Registration is recommended.
