Mic Drop In-Person
Bring three minutes of your best stuff to this supportive and lively Open Mic featuring a warm audience and light refreshments. Doors open at 6:15. Sign up at the door to read. First come, first served until time runs out. Hosted by Marin County Poet Laureate Francesca Bell.
FRANCESCA BELL is the author of two collections of poetry, Bright Stain and What Small Sound, and translator of Max Sessner’s Whoever Drowned Here from its original German. Her work appears widely in magazines such as ELLE, New England Review, and Rattle. She is a translation editor at Los Angeles Review and teaches poetry and embroidery at San Quentin.
