Don Reed was an NPR Snap Judgment Storyteller of the Year. He is the host/producer of Redwood Nights: Storytelling Under the Stars in Fairfax. His solo storytelling shows have won and been nominated for multiple Theatre Bay Area, Off Broadway NY, and NAACP Awards. Most recently Reed's storytelling has catapulted him to signing a book deal with Simon & Schuster. He was triple nominated for the 2024 Broadway World San Francisco Bay Area Awards for Best Solo Performance/Best Play/Best Director. Reed was also the longtime opening act/warm-up comedian for The Tonight Show. He recently partnered with Johnny Carson's - Carson Entertainment Group for his multi-media one man show "The Never Too Late Show", sharing producing duties with Seinfeld writer Pat Hazell. redwoodnightslive.com

 

Beau Ryder Davis is a comedian and storyteller based in San Francisco, California. He is an 8-time Moth Story Slam winner, recent Bay Area Moth GrandSlam Champion, and co-host of Pretty Good Stories. He is working on a longform show about growing up in the small mountain town of Hazard, Kentucky, which was named the Least Happy Town in America by the esteemed Dr. Oz Show in 2007.

 

 

 

Paul S. Flores creates plays, oral narratives, and spoken word about transnationality and citizenship that spur and support societal movements that lead to change. His plays have been commissioned by Yerba Buena Center for The Arts, La Peña Cultural Center, Pregones Theater, Creative Capital, the MAP Fund, San Francisco Arts Council, San Francisco International Arts Festival, the NEA and many more. He is the co-founder of Youth Speaks Inc and Brave New Voices: International Teen Poetry Slam. His book of poetry We Still Be won the 2024 American Book Award. He lives in San Francisco.

 

Kari Kiernan is a Mill Valley native who loves this library. She has been telling stories on Bay Area stages for the past 15 years and is always thrilled to come back to Naked Truth.
