Managing Money: A Family Caregiver's Guide to Finances In-Person

If you or someone you know is facing Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or another chronic illness, it’s never too early to put financial plans in place.
Join us to learn tips for managing someone else’s finances, how to prepare for future care costs and the benefits of early planning.

This is an evidence-based education program, which teaches caregivers about:
● the costs of caregiving and the benefits of early planning
● avoiding financial abuse and fraud
● starting a conversation about finances
● assessing financial and legal needs
● finding support

The program includes video clips of real-life caregivers sharing their experiences in managing finances for the person they are caring for. In addition, the program provides caregivers with activities to help them develop a plan.

In collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association.
