Author Talk: Michelle Chouinard and Stacie Grey

Author Talk: Michelle Chouinard and Stacie Grey In-Person

“Both chilling and yet wholesome. I was drawn into the glamorous, mysterious world and could not keep myself from turning the pages and racing to the end. I devoured every quirky sentence.” —Jesse Q. Sutanto, author of Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers

“Chouinard’s delightful series opener has the low-down on high society, a pretzel of a plot, and an admirably light touch with darkness. Brava!”
—Catriona McPherson, author of the Last Ditch Motel Mysteries

Author Michelle Chouinard joins us for the release of her newest book, The Serial Killer Guide to San Francisco. The protagonist, Capri Sanzio, takes readers on a journey from fog-tipped Fort Point to the columnal Coit Tower and beyond tracking down the killer mimicking the slaying style of her grandfather, the notorious "Overkill Bill." At times a wholesome story about family and--at others--a break-neck thriller, The Serial Killer Guide to San Francisco weaves it all together nicely to create a gripping story for locals and tourists alike. Michelle will be in conversation with Stacie Grey, author of She Left, with a Q&A and book signing to follow. This is Michelle's only Marin County stop, so make sure to register soon!

Michelle Chouinard is the USA Today, Publishers Weekly, and Amazon Charts bestselling author behind The Vacation and the Detective Jo Fournier series. She loves coffee, chocolate, bullet journaling, tarot cards, anything to do with Halloween or zombie apocalypses, and small doses of tomfoolery and shenanigans.

Stacie Grey is the Lefty-nominated author of the Marketplace Mysteries series (writing as Daisy Bateman) who lives in Alameda, California, with her husband and dog. In what passes for normal life, she works in biotech research. She Left is her first novel as Stacie Grey.

Copies of their books will be sold by Sausalito Books by the Bay
