Adult Arts & Crafts: Cyanotypes

Adult Arts & Crafts: Cyanotypes In-Person

Adults need playtime too! Join local photography teacher Laurie Reemsnyder to learn how to make cyanotypes using plant life and digital negatives. Simple chemicals, watercolor paper, sunshine, water, and a little hydrogen peroxide are all that is needed to create photographic blueprints known as cyanotypes. Explore the process using the provided materials to create white silhouettes against a blue background. Feel free to bring small leaves, ferns, or interesting leaf shapes (really anything that lays flat and has a pretty pattern/shape). Participants will take home 1-2 images.

Spaces are limited so registration is required.
