Record Listening Night: Psychedelia In-Person
For our first Record Listening Night since the Covid-19 shutdown we will be following the theme of our Adult Summer Reading program: Down the Rabbit Hole.
Just as Alice went down the rabbit hole into the curious and absurd world of Wonderland, we will collectively listen to music that transports us through the Doors of Perception. Bring your favorite psychedelic music from any era or genre on vinyl or choose from our collection. Tell us what memories or feelings your pick evokes (optional). Sips (no trips) and snacks will be provided!
Gary Scheuenstuhl from Mill Valley Music will host and bring some favorites from his psychedelic record collection and Jim Welte will DJ.
Registration highly recommended. Doors open at 6pm.
